Elvas and Amoreira Aqueduct

The Amoreira aqueduct aka "Aqueduto de Elvas" was built under the orientation of Francisco Arruda ordered by João III de Portugal and carries water from Amoreira to the city of Elvas, has 8,5km in length and 843 arches. It is considered the biggest aqueduct in the Iberian Peninsula. It's classified UNESCO world heritage since 2012.
