It lies 10 km north of Castelo de Vide right of the road to Póvoa de Meada in the hallway Tapada do Cilindro. With 7.15 m height and about 16 tons of weight since Meada Menhir is the largest in the Iberian Peninsula. Its diameter is 1.25 m at the thickest point.
